1930's Art Deco Long Red Evening Dress - M
This is our current favorite dress we have right now! We're madly in love with this amazing and so well made antique vintage 20's 30's red velvet evening dress. It looks like it was only worn one time. The ornate bead work is stunning. Very art deco & in amazing condition. It still has it's original matching belt with metal and rhinestone buckle. The low cut V back is just gorgeous. We can't say enough about this. It's a slip on dress with no zippers or snaps. Unlined. We think it's silk velvet but there are no tags. The bead work is stunning with pearls, rhinestones and glass beads... None are missing. The dress has a drapey style to the bodice then hugs the hips and is cut to flare out around the legs. A true rare evening dress...old Hollywood glamor at it's best!

Condition Details: Looks worn only 1 time. No holes or major stains. Only VERY Minor Wear. The only flaw is 3 very small darker red specks on the front (see up close photo). When on they are not noticeable at all, they get lost in the draping or if you are wearing a long necklace. At the
very bottom side/front of hem near floor there is a darker spot about
1/2" but it literally is not visible as it is placed inside the gathers
of the flared skirt. -- Usually antique dresses are graded differently than vintage dresses since they don't hold up after 100 years as well as say a 50's cotton or taffeta dress does but this one is a rare find.

Size: Measured flat - Aprox a modern US 4/5/6/7 - Go by inches NOT just size numbers - See chart to be sure. It looks great on the mannequin, she is aprox a modern US 3/4 but dress has plenty of extra room so it is, & can, fit a bigger size.
Bust: Fabric is 38" - but you need to be a bit smaller, fits up to 34"/36" so it will have some drape to it.
Waist: Fabric is 34" - around where belt is and seam
Hips: Fabric is 42"
Total length: Bodice 16" - Skirt is 44"- from top of shoulder to waist seam & bottom of fabric
