1930's LA Police Metal Antique/Vintage Helmet Hat

We believe this to be from the 30's but not 100% sure. White metal with leather chin strap and inside liner. L.A. stands for Los Angeles in case you didn't know. As soon as we learn more about this vintage police helmet we'll add it here. It's in great shape. The few we have seen on these are usually without the inside stuff and the leather is all gone.



Condition Details: This is as shown. Nothing broken, just worn. A few scrapes and a touch of rust but the label is in remarkably good condition. NO dents, no missing parts.

Label: B.F. McDonald Los Angeles

Size: Diameter of entire hat is 12.75" front to back & 10.5" side to side - Head opening is 9 1/4" front to back & 7.5" side to side. Leather head band is adjustable and is now at about 23" or 24" around. It's about 5" tall.
