1930's Novelty Print Alice In Wonderland Vintage Dress

This is a very rare and collectible vintage dress from the 1930's. Unbelievably cute fabric with the print of the characters in Alice in Wonderland. Semi sheer, light weight, peach silk or rayon with black print and grosgrain ribbon stripes. Little black buttons, 2 little black bows and heavily padded puff sleeves and shoulders make this one of the cutest dresses we've ever had. Also a desirable rare gem for textile designers who want to copy the print and also still very wearable if you're an experienced vintage buyer who does not mind the flaws on the dress. Unlined, waist and button holes are backed in cotton. Buttons in the back & has no other closures. No tags of any kind. This is a collectible item.



Condition Details: No holes or big stains. A few spots we got out with hand washing so if you wanted to take the time you could probably get them all out. It has a few pin holes here and there. Not many and you must hold it up to light to find them. Some general all over wear from age & cleaning, but not in one place. There are small yellow spots sprinkled here & there. I tried to show them in the photos up close. Some are very faint a few are darker but very small, almost like coffee splashed near the dress and there are small drops. Also some faint yellowing near underarms and on the middle of the back area. We took up close photos of flaws the best we could. The black does not run and the dress did not & does not shrink. It has been hand washed. Price reflects condition & is valued for the fabric print & rarity.
