Sally Milgrim was known for her very high end evening gowns dressing many
women of American aristocracy like Eleanor Roosevelt... see photo below
of E. Roosevelt in a Milgrim gown. Her dresses are very collectible and
rare with most priced into the thousands of dollars.
This one of the most gorgeous vintage gowns we have ever had...circa late 30's early 40's. I had this is my personal collection but it's too big for me. I decided altering it would ruin the integrity of the dress so here it is for the new lucky owner. I must say, from experience, this dress is one of the most flattering designs you can wear. It ties behind the waist for a fitted slim waist & the bow behind your back is so cute, the bust is a bit gathered so it gives you a long curvy look. The fabric is black and the bead colors are rusty orange with golds & pinks. It has metal buttons in the back for closure, it's unlined. This gown is pure old Hollywood glamor!

Condition Details: No holes or stains. Next To No Wear. No missing beads that we can tell. No fading...looks almost new.
