1940's Adele Simpson Black Suit Ermin Fur Collar
Adele Simpson was a very high end clothing designer for Lady
Bird Johnson, Pat Nixon, Betty Ford and Barbara Bush. She's most known in history for her work during the 1940's, which
helped catapult American designers, particularly women, into
international recognition.
This is a rare classic and gorgeous vintage designer mid 1940's women's skirt suit. Made of black wool with white Ermin fur collar. Jacket is fully lined in black silk. Skirt is unlined, has a metal zipper on one side, and a walking slit in the back with 2 big deco shaped plastic buttons, & padded shoulders. A collectors item that will never go down in value...Really beautiful!
Condition Details: No holes or stains. Very minimal wear. No moth holes or grazing areas of any kind. No fading either.
