1940's Black Princess Coat

This is an adorable vintage 40's coat / jacket in a princess style... fitted waist slightly flared through the hips, padded shoulders. Black fabric is unlabeled but we think it's a blend of rayon & wool or rayon & cotton. It has a nice fluid movement, not stiff like allot of wool. It's also not too heavy. It's a perfect coat for days & nights that are not too cold. Fully lined in black rayon. Buttons in the front, and the sleeves have a neat looking vertical piping in the fabric. A classic coat that will never go out of style and it goes with everything from jeans to dresses.



Condition Details: This would be Near Mint if it were not for the tiny thin/ worn area in the middle back area, it's really hard to see unless you hold it up to the light (see photo). It's not a hole yet but almost. It's a dime sized thin area in the fabric. No holes or stains. Hardly any general wear but a little.
