A stunning and hard to find vintage skirt from the late 30's early 40's. Jet black velvet, metal zipper on one side, unlined. We think it's silk velvet but it could be rayon. It's nice and flowy... it has great movement. There's a big woven pocket on one hip. We stuffed it with white tissue, for some of the photos, so you can see it's shape. Skirt flares out toward the bottom. Each seam has 1/2 inch extra fabric as does the zipper. The waist has about 1.5" extra fabric to move hooks to make it bigger. Old Hollywood glamor!
