Here is an amazing vintage late 30's - early 40's royal blue velvet suit that hearkens back to the days of true glamor! A rare set indeed. The velvet is not labeled so we're not sure if it's silk or rayon. The jacket has beautifully embroidered lapels, it snaps at the waist & ties in the back. The sleeves are fitted around the wrists & are full & puffy. The shoulders are raised/puffed, & the pants have a metal zipper on one side & subtle pleats in the front. The color is darker in person. Just beautiful!
