1950's Ceil Chapman Long Black Dress

What a wonderful surprise to come across this vintage late 40's early 50's classic black evening dress /long gown by the highly sought after designer Ceil Chapman, Marylin Monroe's favorite designer. Long, black, fitted & boned bodice with full skirt... Unlined. I think the fabric is faille. The skirt has a ruffle around the hips with a plastic mesh underneath to keep it's ruffly shape, and a zipper on one side...the zipper is new. No other layers under the skirt. A classic simple gown never to go out of style!

Condition Details: No holes or stains. Some general but minimal wear to fabric from cleaning & age.
