This is one of our new favorite dresses! So elegant... old Hollywood glamor style from the 1930's / '40's. The color is gorgeous in a soft creamy ivory. Perfect for a wedding dress or party dress. The lace around the waist and bodice is cotton. This beautiful long dress has a hidden side metal zipper, is unlined & has shoulder pads that are original to the dress. The bottom of the skirt is cut on a bias and is tapered longer on the sides slightly...very Art Deco. There are no fabric tags but we think it's rayon. It's light to medium weight, flowy, slinky, elegant. So rare for a dress this old to be in a larger size like this is. A real find!
- We have LAY-A-WAY! - See "Ordering + Lay Away" page for details.
At 1st look dress looks new.
No holes. Very minor general wear. Crochet looks almost new. The only flaws are very tiny like in the photo, a small speck on the back shoulder, one pinhole in the skirt in front down by the knees that gets lost in the folds. All get lost easily they're so faint. There are a few slightly darker spots ( 1/2" at the most) near the very bottom edge of fabric just from normal but light general wear.Label:
