1940's Rare Purple Hawaiian Dress Set
Here's a true collectors item... a 40's vintage Hawaiian dress that still has it's original belt & little matching bolero jacket with coconut buttons. They're very rarely found all together but this one not only is still a complete set but looks like it was never worn, the only flaw is just slightest wear to fabric from age and hand cleaning. Purple, black, & white cotton print, metal zipper on one side, unlined, ruched bust, tie straps, it's hard to see in the photos but the matching belt ties in a bow in the front it's about 1" wide. The short little bolero jacket is so cute it's cut low in front so you can see the ruched bust of the dress & it has 2 coconut buttons in the front. An amazing find!
This and the other blue Hawaiian dress were acquired from an estate
where the lady only wore them 1 time in the mid to late 40's and then
just kept them in storage.
