1950's Alfred Shaheen Red Hawaiian Dress

Another gorgeous and so sought after vintage 50's Hawaiian dress by designer Alfred Shaheen. Red is always the most popular color and this adorable red & white Hawaiian print is so cute. The gathered bust and white cotton pique trim on top of the bust is so 50's. Elastic bodice with no zipper or other closures...pull over style halter strap with coconut buttons. Fitted bodice and a flared very full skirt. Unlined.



Condition Details: Color is still very bright & vivid, no holes or stains. Elastic is good and strong, some general wear to fabric but mostly just to the white fabric on the top edge of the bodice, the cotton pique trim has some faint discolorations in a few places (see up close photo), it's hard to see in the photo because it's so faint.
