Here is one of the best little black evening dresses we've had in some time! Vintage 1950's black formal evening or cocktail dress with a big silk bow in the back. There's a black metal zipper in back, with a tiny silk bow detail covering it. Couture quality. Mr. Blackwell was known for his wonderful classic high quality clothing. This adorable little black dress is no exception! The lace is so delicate & intricate, it's backed with light beige chiffon...stunning! Fabric is not labeled but it's soft like a light wool or cotton, we're not sure. Bodice is fitted and the full skirt flares out so nicely, it's backed in soft cotton fabric that keeps the skirt stiff and full. Very Audrey Hepburn!
