1950's Black Velvet Saks 5th Ave. Box Bag
This is a glamorous and elegant black silk velvet box purse from Saks Fifth Avenue by Coblentz.
Lined in peachy pink satin with it's original tissue/makeup accessory holder. It snaps in the front with a delicate metal rhinestone button snap. The velvet is ruched on top and the handle is knotted. Just gorgeous.
Condition Details: Some general but minor wear, mostly just to back hinge area and corners (see photo) & handle. The velvet at the hinges in back has worn away but it does not effect the use in any way unless you want mint. Very sturdy. Light use to inside fabric. No stains. There is one missing stone and a 1/4" line of velvet on front hinge flap that has worn away. Tried to show in photos but they are small and dark.
