1950's Gold Tafetta Marabou Party Dress - M

This is a vintage shiny gold taffeta party dress with super soft pure white feather trim around the top of the fitted & boned bodice. Gold matching metal zipper in back, very full unlined skirt. Bodice is lined & has darts. It has no straps but we think adding white velvet ribbons would be adorable & so easy to do for straps.



Condition Details: No holes or stains. Hardly any wear to feathers but taffeta has some general wear, not in any one place, just typical vintage wear from age and use, but fairly minor (see up close photo).

Bust: 36"/37" - 17" across very top when flat plus substantial darts

Waist: Fabric is 28" (no stretch but there is some extra fabric to let out 1 to 2")

Hips: Full

Total length:  Bodice 12" - Skirt is 29"- from natural waist
