1950's Peach Lace Edythe Washington Gown
One of the most gorgeous designer vintage gowns / formal evening dresses we have up right now...circa 1950's. The peachy beige intricate lace is stunning! It has metallic silver thread running through which gives it a very subtle sparkle. The tea length skirt is very full. There's a peach colored taffeta liner and a sheer peach organza layer in between. There's a metal zipper in the back, darts, and boning in the bodice. There does not seem to be too much extra lace to let out but the liner has a couple inches at the seams. This dress is couture quality & is extremely well made. It's not lightweight & has a nice subtle rustling sound from the taffeta when it moves. Edythe Washington was known for her very high end couture dresses & evening gowns. This dress is perfect for a vintage wedding dress!
Condition Details: This would be Near Mint if it were not for the 2 small faint lightened areas on the bottom front & side of skirt (see photos). Can't see them unless you go hunting. They also are hidden by the folds. No holes or stains. Very minimal general wear mostly just to inside liner. Looks worn only 1 or 2 times.
