1950's Powder Blue Strapless Evening Dress - M

Here is a beautiful vintage evening party dress fit for a movie star! From the 1950's it has that wonderful Marilyn Monroe feel or style to it. We think it's a rayon fabric possibly, there are no size tags. It's a gorgeous light baby blue with rhinestones all around the bodice. It has boning & a metal zipper on one side. We love the darker blue criss cross detail in back! The very full skirt is tea length & has a fitted bodice for that flattering fit & flare look that was so popular in the 50's. It has a it's own white tulle petticoat underneath, dress is unlined.

Condition Details: Freshly dry cleaned at a non toxic earth friendly cleaners. No stains. We have this listed in the sale rack because we did not repair the flaws it has on the side underarm area (see up close photos). At 1st look dress looks great with no large flaws but when you inspect fabric close one can see it's a vintage used dress. It has normal general vintage all over wear, in the back on one side of the hip is a scratch/scuff shown in photos. We did not replace the missing rhinestones on the sides, so there are a few minor repairs needed on the sides near where under arms touch. With a little repair to the sides of the bust it can be a very nice dress. Sold as-is, price reflects flaws.

Size Details: Dress fits our modern US size 3/4 mannequin perfectly with no room to spare. Each seam has standard 1/4" extra.

Bust: 32"/ 34" with darts - Ribcage measures 15.5" across when flat then including darts it's about 34".

Waist: Fabric is 24.25" The largest waist it'll fit is 24".- Fabric has no stretch

Hips: Full

Total length: 39" - Waist falls aprox. 11" down from the top of fabric.
