We absolutely adore anything by Alfred Shaheen! Especially these 50's vintage Hawaiian dresses with the cute little tea length full skirts. They're so flattering on everyone. This one has the elastic stitching around the bodice on the sides & in back so it stretches about 2" for a nice comfy fit. In the front it has the wonderful layered shelf bust style...fitted on top and flared at the bottom with the really full circle style skirt. It has a built in white cotton bra inside and zips in back. The strap is halter style & buttons on. So feminine and adorable yet sexy too! A real classic bombshell dress. This dress is so sought after & is a collectors item. A classic pin up style dress. It's also rare because it's a bigger size. Most vintage dresses are tiny & have a 24" waist but this dress is for more normal modern girls... a bit bigger.

Condition Details: Freshly hand washed in organic natural soap. No holes or stains. Only minor general wear. The colors are nice & crisp NOT faded. The elastic is not dry but it probably has some age/wear to it. It is still stretchy around 2".

Bust: 34"/ 36" - It measures 17" across when flat plus about 2" for the darts to fit about a 36" bust. Maybe a bit bigger too.
Waist: 30" to 32"- When dress is laying flat it measures 15" across UNstretched. Elastic stretches about 2".

Total length: Bodice 11" - Skirt is 20"- From top of shoulder to waist seam & bottom of fabric
