This is a stunning vintage bathing swim suit from the 50's by a very famous bathing suit designer Rose Marie Reid. Her suits were worn by Marilyn Monroe, Rita Hayworth and all of the big starlets of the day. They were known for their flattering figure flaw hiding style and quality. This vintage 50's swim suit is black with a lace bodice for evening cocktail swim parties. It has a built in boned bra and metal back zipper. It has the elastic skirt across the front just like Marilyn Monroe wore! These suits are now collectors items, especially in this larger size.
