This vintage jacket is just so gorgeous! The photos don't do it justice...circa late 50's early 60's. The fabric is so amazing and obviously the highest quality silk available... Hand made black silk with gold Asian horse design & Asian style buttons. The inside is a light soft yellow gold color silk as is one side of the long sash. Each long sash is attached at each side of the waist and ties into a big dramatic bow. Couture quality. Padded shoulders, quilt stitch on the cuffs and collar. Perfect
example of why we love vintage clothing. You'll be hard pressed to find
something in the mall as lovely as this. If it was smaller it would be in my closet!
- So versatile... We really love this worn with jeans but also looks amazing with a pencil skirt or over a dress.
Condition Details: This would be MINT if it were not for the tiny faint spot on the one sash, smaller than a pea (see photo). No holes or stains. Hardly any wear. Looks worn only 1 or 2 times.
