1960's Lord & Taylor Fur Collar Coat- M
Lord and Taylor was a very high end department store up until the late 70's. They were known for their expensive items much like Saks Fifth Avenue is. This coat is a perfect example of their great taste. The trim & collar is real sheep fur & the body is a very dark sable brown faux fur that we had thought was real until our dry cleaners told us it was not. But they were very impressed at how soft and realistic it is. An amazing and gorgeous coat! The style is so chic too. Very late 60's early 70's, belt is attached at the sides & has a gold colored buckle. Buttons up the front with a double row of original buttons, fully lined. Very luxe rich hippie rock star style!
Condition Details: No holes or stains. Hardly any wear on outside. liner has some staining and smaller holes on the bottom (see photo) but we had it cleaned and the seams professionally repaired. One button is a replacement.
