To continue on my last post about What Queen Wore. Here’s a photo of the band Queen from the early 1970’s. Roger’s wearing the coolest black leather shirt jacket, a lot like this one we had, shown here without it’s belt. It also was made in England. The label read: “Ian Mankin, Made In England, Eric Ross & Co”. We’ve also had a few of those floppy hippie hats like Roger’s wearing. Then there’s Brian May ( genius extraordinaire ) wearing a classic pinstripe 1940’s style jacket. We’ve had many of these over the years & always will. These pinstripe jackets & suits will look amazing forever & ever, they just simply do not go out of style…ever!

There wasn’t allot of 20’s vintage clothing at this LACMA exhibit, which is my favorite decade, but this harem outfit was one of the very few. There were only one or two examples of Edwardian clothing as well.
We just love a classic well made wedding dress & even though our wedding dresses are from the 40’s, 50’s, & 60’s they are very modern & in style. Here’s a few photos of some of our favorites.
Here are some more designer vintage clothing photos from the 60’s:
I came across these amazing fashion photos from the 1960’s and had to share. The 60’s and 1920’s are my 2 favorite decades. There’s nothing like vintage designer clothing from the late 60’s! Even the early 70’s was just so sexy and pure art for designers and music alike. Music, obviously, heavily influenced fashion at that time. There are a few Pucci outfits here along with Givenchy and other famous designers of that time. I have much more and will keep posting them today & over the next few days.
Here we were going for that late 60’s rich hippie look. The dress is a late 60’s designer dress with crochet inserts…very sexy! Paired with a big black leather Furla bag & matching black leather vintage boots. Would also look great with a pair of vintage platform shoes from the 70’s. The fitted vintage leopard print coat is from the late 60’s. That style is flattering with the fitted waist and double breasted closure. Last but not least is the black late 60’s early 70’s fedora… So Alecia Keyes!
