This is a fairly tale vintage designer evening gown, so glamorous and pretty. It was made in the 1940's to early 1950's of soft pale peach satin & matching fine tulle netting with accordion pleating. It's decorated with sequins, crystal rhinestones, & beads all over front and back. Dress has a metal side zipper. The bodice is boned, the skirt is very full & tea length. It's in a slightly larger size which is nice. Couture quality. This lovely vintage evening gown / dress is one of our favorites. True Old Hollywood glamour!
- We have LAY-A-WAY! - See "Ordering + Lay Away" page for details.
Condition Details: It's been thoroughly cleaned 2 times & overall looks really nice, but some of the bead work and sequins show it's general all over wear but the wear is pretty minor. Some sequins & beads are missing. We've sewn them down in the places they were loose, most are fine but you may want to have some new sequins sewn back on if you want it to look new. It's missing a few of them (see photos) sprinkled around but not really in any obvious or important places. No holes, very sturdy. No stains other than a small dime sized blue faint spot on the tulle skirt inside hidden in the folds on one side, & a small red dot on the zipper. The faint blue spot can be sewn up & removed but we're selling it as-is - see up close photos. The skirt has a few very tiny holes in the tulle but get totally lost in the folds & are not in front.
