1970's Designer Marilyn Monroe Style Evening Dress - M

This designer made dresses for the Supremes as well as other famous people. HERE'S AN EXCERPT FROM AN ARTICLE ABOUT THE SUPREMES:
To round out their amazing vocal talents, these Motown artists were outfitted in extravagant gowns carrying thousand dollar price tags by Hollywood designers Bob Mackie, Michael Travis and Pat Campano -- an expense that surely didn't come easy, even for a successful black record company.

This sexy vintage dress was made during the era of Halston & Studio 54. It's a slightly more modern version of Marilyn Monroe's sexy iconic white halter subway dress. It's classic... elegant... sexy. It reminds us of Marilyn Monroe so much! She would have worn this dress if it were around when she was! Soft, flowy, creamy ivory colored fabric (has a slight stretch to it) with wonderful criss cross rhinestone straps. It's a gorgeous vintage designer evening dress that has couture quality! We can't read the content label so we're not sure what it's made of. It's flowy & moves nicely not too heavy but not too light. Fitted bodice & a full skirt, metal zipper in back. This dress was used for a movie or music video. The actresses name, Adele, is still inside. The bust is lined so it's not see through at all. Very well made of course. A very rare find!
