Soft light peach sheer fabric over a rayon liner and trimmed in a pale matching ribbon. This adorable party dress is from the 50's. It's very small and doesn't have any extra fabric at the seams unfortunately but one could get some peach fabric & add an inch or 2 at the zipper, we've seen that done very successfully quite often. This dress has boning in the bodice, a full skirt with 3 layers, a metal side zipper and darts. The sheer skirt has soft pleats and we just love the bow on the front. It has a faint flaw just above the bow so you could move the bow up about 1 or so inches to easily cover it, if it bothers you.

Condition Details: No holes or major stains. Only Minor Wear. It has 1 flaw: There's a small faded area over the left bust just above the bow (see photo). There are a few very small & VERY faint water spots on the bottom edge of skirt...they are faint & hard to see truly, not even worth mentioning but we like to be thorough. They can't be seen unless you pull out skirt & look real close in the light.

It was made in the 1940's to early 1950's of soft pale peach satin & matching fine tulle netting with accordion pleating. It's decorated with sequins, crystal rhinestones, & beads all over front and back. Dress has a metal side zipper. The bodice is boned, the skirt is very full & tea length. It's in a slightly larger size which is nice. Couture quality. This lovely vintage evening gown / dress is one of our favorites. True Old Hollywood glamour!

Condition Details: It's been thoroughly cleaned 2 times & overall looks really nice, but some of the bead work and sequins show it's general all over wear but the wear is pretty minor. Some sequins & beads are missing. We've sewn them down in the places they were loose, most are fine but you may want to have some new sequins sewn back on if you want it to look new. It's missing a few of them (see photos) sprinkled around but not really in any obvious or important places. No holes, very sturdy. No stains other than a small dime sized blue faint spot on the tulle skirt inside hidden in the folds on one side, & a small red dot on the zipper. The faint blue spot can be sewn up & removed but we're selling it as-is - see up close photos. The skirt has a few very tiny holes in the tulle but get totally lost in the folds & are not in front.

It's a soft coral, and that's also the name of the color listed on the original hang tag. It's much prettier in person. Computer screens can often change colors. The silk chiffon is a very fine high quality, only the best was used by the Elizabeth Arden label, so it makes the color even more beautiful. This dress is a solid sheath that zips in the back and has a sheer top layer and matching tie scarf that can be used as a belt or around the neck. Simple and elegant...timeless!

Condition Details: No holes or snags. This dress has never been worn & is almost mint condition. Dress still has original tags. Front of dress has no issues at all. Just from it's age it has a couple very tiny flaws: one small darker pea sized spot on back of skirt at the bottom (see photo of back of skirt). The 2nd one is debatable, one of us here says there is no other flaws but one person says they see a very very faint darker area on the back of one hip (see photo)just in the folds. It might be just natural fading but it doesn't show up on the photos and again one of us says they don't see it but we're going to mention it just to be safe.

Our favorite part is the bow on the back of the neck. This is so Marilyn Monroe we can hardly stand it. You wont find another one of these dresses any where any time soon or even later. That is how rare and wonderful this dress is. Metal zipper in back, designer couture quality, full tea length skirt. It's way too big for our US modern womens size 3/4 mannequin, you can see a few wrinkles in the photos because of it.

Condition Details: ONLY WORN ONE TIME. Almost mint condition. Freshly dry cleaned at a non-toxic earth friendly cleaners. No holes or stains other than what's explained here. Only the slightest minor general wear mostly only to inside, but it has a teeniest tiny brown dot the size of a pencil tip in the very back down next to the hem but nothing else on the outside (see photo). There's one very small seam repair to a leaf edge on the side/back, can hardly see it.

The fabric is black and ivory white check print with 2 big bows in front on the bodice and a matching one on the skirt. This long adorable vintage dress was made in the 1930's to 1940's. It's long, with a side metal zipper that goes all the way to the top for an easy fit, full skirt, unlined, bodice is boned. One of the cutest dresses we have seen in a very long time. These are so hard to find these days! This long vintage dress was made around the late 1930's to early 1940's. Fabric is a lighter weight taffeta fabric probably rayon but there are no tags. Old Hollywood glamour!

Condition Details: Freshly dry cleaned at a non-toxic earth friendly cleaners. No holes or stains. Only very slight general wear. Looks almost new. The only flaw is a very faint nickel size spot in back of skirt that gets lost in folds & only on the white.

Fully lined in a matching darker rayon, zips in the back, & has a matching long tie silk belt. The big ruffles around the bodice are so pretty! This dress is way too big for our size 4 mannequin. A true classic. The color in the photos might not be exact, in person its a soft rich muted brown NOT red or rust in any way.

Soft light lavender pink rayon liner with a sheer very black lace overlay. The photos sometimes make it look like it's a bright pink but it's NOT BRIGHT, it's a soft ballet pink with a  lavender undertone. The surplus style neckline and shoulders are made of ruched black chiffon (probably rayon). It has a long side metal zipper that goes all the way to the top for an easy fit. The waist is pretty small like most vintage dresses & clothing of this era. But a good seamstress can easily find matching fabric since these colors are very popular still today, and she/he can add panels to the zipper or side seams. We've seen this done a million times & works very well. It looks like it was never worn. So feminine and classically mid-century!

This dress was used for a movie or music video. The actresses name, Adele, is still inside. The bust is lined so it's not see through at all. Very well made of course. A very rare find!

We're in love with the front and the back but especially the back! It has 2 floor length fabric falls down the back, one falls under the bodice and the other is layered to fall over the top of the bodice on either side of the metal zipper. The bodice is boned and lined. It's a very well made dress. The fabric is super gorgeous! It's not a thin light weight fabric but a bit more medium weight... probably rayon. The only tags are an old union label. The color is so stunning in a light aqua blue with a colored abstract floral print. It looks like a water color painting. The fabric has a bit of texture to it also. This long vintage floor length evening gown is too big for our mannequin who is a US size 3/4.

Circa 1960's - early 70's. The fabric is stunning and must be seen & felt in person to truly be appreciated. The color is not overly bright & vivid they are soft despite the photos. The quality of the workmanship is also wonderful...couture quality all the way! 2 layers of sheer silk, the outer layer is pleated. It has 2 zippers in the back. The outer skirt is full, pleated and sweeping, the under skirt is not as full and it's not pleated. The colors are so pretty in soft greens, with pinks and yellows. Very versatile...this dress works for both day & night with the right accessories. The photos don't do this dress justice!

The photos don't do this unbelievably beautiful evening dress justice! You must feel the fabric and the fine silver metal thread embroidery in your hands to truly see the quality. It's made of a semi sheer rich supple red fabric...classic red not scarlet red... the fabric is either silk or rayon but there are no labels, it has a nice weight to it. It is not super lightweight like silk chiffon. Since it's made around the 1940's it would most likely be rayon. Couture quality! The bodice is strapless with boning, all hand finished. There's very fine embroidery all over the bodice & sprinkled around the full skirt in real silver colored metal thread. There is a red metal zipper in back. You might want a slip or small petticoat underneath as the skirt fabric is semi sheer & there's no liner. All eyes will be on you in this dress! This is truly one of our all time favorite dresses...the finest & most glamorous dresses we've had in our 15 years of business! It's what fairy tales are made of.

Condition Details: No holes or stains. It has never been worn and shows no signs of any wear. Looks almost new. The only flaw is in the back at the bottom of the skirt it has a few tiny little dark sprinkle spots that you can't see at all unless you pull out skirt & go hunting up close.

It was used in movies but we don't know which one. It's a stunning party dress...strapless boned bodice made with the most gorgeous floral print fabric that looks like an oil painting. Dress has 2  stunning big pink ruched bows in the back. Zips up next to the bows. Dress has clear sequins & green & crystal rhinestones sprinkled all over the dress. The studio made a few pro alterations to the dress to make it bigger. Looks like they inserted the pink bows or some fabric in the bodice. The zipper is new and the bows look vintage (see condition details below). From the outside it looks all original but the inside bodice you can see the professional alterations. The skirt is lined inside with it's original nude silk organza. If you look really close the fabric has a slight tiny sparkle to it but it's extremely subtle. It's a stunning & gorgeous vintage evening party dress!

Condition Details: No holes or stains. Clean & fresh. Fabric looks almost new with no fading to colors. It was made bigger by the studio & they inserted some fabric in the back of the bodice. The zipper is new and the bows look vintage but could have been inserted to make it a larger size. From the outside it looks all original but the inside bodice you can see the professional alterations. The only 2 reasons we didn't rate this higher condition wise is 1- The inside white cotton liner is not sewn up & finished in some places & has Fox info written inside. 2- It looks like they replaced some of the original sequins & stones it looks nicely done but a few are missing. Overall the dress is in really great shape.

Especially vintage Saks & the Young Dimension label which was for the 20 somethings back in the day...the younger set... so the clothing was very hip. They had the highest quality and chicest clothing, just like this vintage maxi dress from the 70's. All the designers are trying to copy this dress but now you can have the real thing. Gorgeous ivory / bone colored long halter style maxi dress. There are no fabric tags but we think it's a poly knit probably. Not heavy, but flowy and sexy. This dress is perfect for the evening but we also think this would make a wonderful wedding dress, or reception dress. It has 2 silver metal rhinestone balls in front & a zipper in back to the side which is a nice touch & gives the dress a sleek look in back, no zipper to ruin the shape. Signs of quality. Straps hook behind the neck. Dress is not lined. This gorgeous dress was never worn & it looks it.

It works so well in many situations like a daytime garden party or wedding, as well as a night time dress or prom party. Fits our size 4 mannequin.

Condition Details: Looks worn only about 2 or 3 times. The entire dress looks almost new except for 2 very small wear areas on the bodice you hardly see. No holes or stains. Some minor general wear near the waist seam on the bodice - see up close photo- near the zipper has darkening where fingers have touched it to zip it up (see red arrow). So faint you can't see it in photos or even in person unless you hold it at an angle in the direct light. If you pull out the ruching on the sides of the bodice there is a faint wear darkening marks where arms have touched the fabric but it is so hard to see you literally have to go looking for it.

This cocktail party dress is Audrey Hepburn worthy if ever there was such a dress. It's lined with a soft lavender satin fabric and has a cotton lace overlay in a soft pale beige color, on top. You can see hints of lavender peeking through the lace. The straps have the satin exposed on top and go down in a V shape to a big bow in back. Just doesn't get any more chic than this. Metal zipper in back, darts, fitted shape for a very flattering look. This adorable vintage evening cocktail dress is from the 50's/60's.

There's a metal rhinestone broach pined at the waist on top of the sash. The sash is tacked onto one shoulder and to the waist but can easily be changed if you want it to hang a different way. It has a metal zipper in back, unlined. Adorable Mad Men style!

The cotton fabric is gorgeous in a deep red floral print. It looks like a Hawaiian sarong style dress but it was made in the Philippines. It has a metal zipper in back, a wrap sarong style skirt, is unlined but fabric is backed in natural cotton. The bodice has darts. This dress fit our size 4 mannequin well but was snug.
 It has quite a bit of extra fabric to let out at the side seams, 3" to 4" total (1.5 to 2" on each side seam plus about 1/2" at zipper).

Condition Details: No holes or stains. No signs of use or ever being worn. Green bow looks brand new, zipper is mint...The only flaw is just from being vintage: at the very edge of the organza on the bottom of skirt & on a tiny seam of the underarm, organza has frayed a bit on the fold (see photos). They do not need to be fixed but if you want it to be mint it is a VERY easy fix. Sold as is.

We're madly in love with this amazing and so well made antique vintage 20's 30's red velvet evening dress. It looks like it was only worn one time. The ornate bead work is stunning. Very art deco & in amazing condition. It still has it's original matching belt with metal and rhinestone buckle. The low cut V back is just gorgeous. We can't say enough about this. It's a slip on dress with no zippers or snaps. Unlined. We think it's silk velvet but there are no tags.  The bead work is stunning with pearls, rhinestones and glass beads... None are missing. The dress has a drapey style to the bodice then hugs the hips and is cut to flare out around the legs. A true rare evening dress...old Hollywood glamor at it's best!

Condition Details: Looks worn only 1 time. No holes or major stains. Only VERY Minor Wear. The only flaw is 3 very small darker red specks on the front (see up close photo).  When on they are not noticeable at all, they get lost in the draping or if you are wearing a long necklace. At the very bottom side/front of hem near floor there is a darker spot about 1/2" but it literally is not visible as it is placed inside the gathers of the flared skirt. -- Usually antique dresses are graded differently than vintage dresses since they don't hold up after 100 years as well as say a 50's cotton or taffeta dress does but this one is a rare find.

Condition Details: Looks worn one time. No major stains, there are a few pale beige small spots here & there. One is the size of a tip of a pencil, there's a pea sized spot on the tip of the bow (see photos). Does not affect it at all. Minimal general wear. On the back of the skirt about 3" from the hem are 2 flaws: 1 pea size hole 1 tiny splash spot. I've about listed every flaw. They get lost in the folds too. Great condition!!

This vintage 50's wiggle dress has got to be the single cutest dress we've ever had! It's hard to tell though since Posh Girl has the best dresses on the net, but this one is extra special. Light pink sheer stretchy ruched fabric (silk chiffon?) fully lined in pink acetate and a metal zipper in the back. A big pink bow on one hip make this too cute for words. Sexy and sweet at the same time.



Condition Details: Looks brand new. No holes or stains.  No wear at all. If we had to find something wrong it's only one tiny pea sized spot that's not perfect & it's VERY hard to find. A small round very faint slightly darker area on side of thigh of skirt. It does not show up on the photos, we tried but it's just too faint (see up close photo). It's so insignificant we don't need to mention it but we will anyway.

Lightest peachy pink nylon chiffon over pale pinkish cream rayon and a cream cotton lace bodice. Chiffon ruching over the skirt & bodice, and flared long straight layers over the hips. Metal zipper in back, boned bodice. This was taken in about 1/2 to 1" on sides - there's extra fabric to let out.


Condition Details:  No holes or stains.  Minimal wear. There are 2 or 3 small snags in the chiffon on the chest (see photo), inside chiffon layer has a very small hole on chest but it is barley visible as it's covered by the top layer of chiffon. Overall it is as close to perfect as vintage gets.

The finest silk in royal blue and metallic gold. Indian style print with the cutest halter cut. Lined in blue silk, boned bodice, metal zipper in back. Hooks behind the neck or in the back but the straps were too short for our mannequin (see photo) so we think the new owner will have to add ties to the ends of the straps, to her liking, in order for the top to fit perfectly. Easy to do just sew ribbon on the ends and tie. There is a little extra fabric at zipper & side seams (maybe 1/2 to 1").


Condition Details:  No holes or stains.  Minimal but some slight wear. The only real flaw is on the left side of strap near where arm rubbed against silk, it's faded there with a tad of staining but is hard to see as the straps are gathered and they get covered in the folds. 1 or 2" in size.

Metal zipper in back, white tulle petticoat underneath, sarong ruched styling on bodice and skirt. Bullocks had the best dresses and this is one of them. Amazing near perfect condition too! A stunning vintage mid 60's designer cocktail dress.

Just amazing... Circa 1951...This dress is in the Elizabeth Taylor movie A Place In The Sun. In the scene where Elizabeth is at the 2nd formal party in a black gown. She walks by a lady wearing this dress on her left as she first enters the room. I'm almost certain it's this exact dress since we acquired this from a movie studio. The fabric is jet black silk velvet with a white & charcoal gray striped rayon or silk taffeta, very full long sweeping skirt. Bodice has boning in the front, side metal zipper, a little gather at the center bust, & a beautiful wrapped & drapey neckline & shoulder straps. Unlined. Very Dramatic.



Condition Details: Velvet has no holes or stains & not much wear. The skirt has some general all over wear. The gray stripes are almost perfect, not many problems or discoloration. The skirt has only about 3 pinholes, no repairs or big holes. The cream/white stripes do, however, have wear and some minor discolorations. The color is not bright white but more of a cream. I tried to show the flaws in the photos but they don't show up very well. We cleaned the skirt by hand & you can only see flaws when you look up close and pull the skirt out wide. We spent 4 hours cleaning & whitening the stripes & it can be made more perfect if you're really picky but we're leaving that up to the new owner. It's very wearable as is. Most of the wear is at the bottom near the hem. There's one area about 2" x 2" on the bottom hem that is a very light/faint orange sprinkle stain. Again, not too noticeable but we think it's better to be overly descriptive so it's in better condition than you expect when you receive the dress.

Creamy white sheer organza (not pure bright white)with pale ice blue embroidery. Metal zipper on one side, full skirt, hooks behind the neck, darts, lined in ivory acetate. Bodice has a little extra fabric at seams to let out but we don't think the waist has much, if any. Halter style reminds us of Marylin Monroe.

Condition Details:  No holes or stains. There is some general all over wear to the fabric but not in any one place & mostly to the typical areas like the back of the neck straps and edge near underarms, etc... Still looks very nice.

Strapless ivory satin boned bodice with white lace overlay and tons of white tulle. It has a new white zipper on one side that we had put in. We had a hard time shooting the photos for this dress. The light color was hard to get just right. They don't do the dress justice. It is much prettier in person. The skirt under the tulle is ivory. Final sale.




Condition Details: No holes or outer stains. Some general minimal wear mostly to lace. Side outer layer of tulle on the skirt is separated, can be resewn. There's one pea sized round yellow spot on the inside of the bodice in the front, under the lace. Not real noticeable unless you go looking but lace is in no way stained, see photo of spot. There are quite a few repairs to the lace. Price reflects condition. Final sale.

Condition Details: This would be Near Mint if it were not for the tiny amount of wear at the edge of the pink organza near the underarms (see photos). No holes or stains but slight darkening to pink near underarms. Minimal general wear to fabric mostly to inside. Black lace is pretty close to flawless.
