Here's another special vintage bathing suit / swim suit by designer Rose Marie Reid. This suit is black with white details on top, has a metal zipper in back, a rhinestone & metal broach detail in front, perfect for evening cocktail pool parties. It also has adorable ruched stitching /gathering on the bottoms. It's a very flattering pinup style swim suit! This is  the real deal...a vintage pinup bathing suit. Theres a good reason why this designer is so sought after, the quality and style is superb. The condition is really nice too.

The top adjusts with buttons and has lined cups. So adorable!

She's known & collected for her glamorous pin up style and high quality. This bathing suit is no exception.

Condition Details: VERY sturdy & stretchy. Elastic is strong. No holes or stains. Some general vintage wear to fabric but mostly to the black: It looks like it has a little all over lint but it's just from wear/age (see photos).

Condition Details: No holes or stains. Only Minor General Wear. It has only 1 flaw: a snag hole on the right bust it looks like possibly someone pinned a broach there. See the blue arrow. It gets lost in the folds but it is there and noticeable if you look. Does not go all the way through or effect the wearing. It can be easily fixed.

The ultimate pinup bathing suit in leopard print fabric by designer Oleg Cassini. We LOVE anything he designed during the 1950's through the 1970's. This vintage bathing suit has to be one of our all time favorites though.  Brown and black leopard print fabric that is very stretchy all over. The entire suit has elastic stitching throughout for a sexy & comfy fit. It also has a zipper in front. The cups and crotch are lined in nylon & acetate. It looks brand new & never worn. A real collectors item that will only go up in value if well cared for.

It's a vest and a pair of gaucho's, AKA, divided skirt. The suede is buttery soft and very high quality. They both have fringe and leather covered buttons. Gaucho's have some water stains but they are very sturdy & wearable, only a cosmetic flaw. See below for all condition details. Unlined. The skirt has an adjustable buckle in the back and the front has a panel flap that buttons closed. These were made by the Keyston Bros, known for their high end western saddles they started in the 1800's and are still in business today. This women's or girls vintage outfit would make the cutest western pinup photo shoot!

Condition Details: No holes, or loose seams. Buttery soft, very sturdy and strong. There are some water stains, mostly on the skirt, but a few sprinkles on the vest, as shown in the photos but it's only superficial / cosmetic it did not affect the leather at all, it still feels almost like new...soft and strong.  We have not had this suit cleaned or treated. Sold as is. There is also a very small red pen mark on the skirt (see pic).

Wonderful quality, we just love the fabric! This label is known for quality clothing in the 1950's when this suit was made. The wool is a gorgeous soft charcoal gray & fully lined in pure silk that's a gorgeous soft taupe color. The jacket has 2 fabric weights in the hem around the hips...one sign of high quality tailoring & design. The details are really beautiful. This is a skirt and jacket. The skirt has a metal zipper, the jacket buttons closed in front. We tried on this suit here & the sleeves fell just above the wrist as was the style back then but it has extra wool to lengthen inside. The fit is so wonderful and flattering! It's a true modern US medium.

Condition Details: Cleaned at a NON-toxic dry cleaners.  No holes or stains. Looks almost new. Worn only 2 times. Only very minor general wear just to inside liner on sleeves. The wool is flawless. The only flaw is faint wear & a repair on each side to the silk liner at the underarms. The skirt length is the only part of the suit that was altered.

Size Details: One of us here tried it on, it's a true modern US medium, the person who tried it on is aprox. a US womens 8, the suit fit like a glove. The skirt can be let down 8" or less. Inside sleeves have 2 1/4" extra wool to let down by a professional, they are all original now.

These hippie style swim suits are so hard to find but this color and this quality is almost impossible! Sure you can find reproductions but they pale in comparison to the quality and style of the real thing. This swim suit was made in the 1970's and was never used, according to the original owner. Soft baby or powder blue crochet, the bottoms are lined. They have criss cross straps in back. It's in a large size too which is even more rare. This looks so amazing when worn with jeans, or shorts...as a top, not just a swim suit.

Embroidery is silk thread, so in the photos it might have a bit of reflection or shine. Photos don't do this one justice at all. Metal side zipper on skirt, jacket has a metal snap and hook closure in front. Dolman shape sleeves. -- This is a larger sized suit so the fit on the mannequin is not the best. It's a chic & classic black women's suit.

Black with black satin trim down the side of the pants, around the cuffs, & the wide lapels are also a smooth satiny fabric in contrast to the body of the suit. We LOVE the wide lapels and fitted sexy waist. Gucci copied this exact suit for their holiday line. But this gorgeous tuxedo is actually affordable! It's also very well made just like Gucci's suit. The jacket & pants are lined. Some 70's fabric can be really cheap and ugly but we would never ever sell any of that cheap stuff here! This fabric has a really nice weight and feel to it, it's high quality, designer quality. We also show it with a cute pink silk skirt, sold separately, to show there are many ways to wear this adorable suit! The pants look great alone with a sweater or blouse...without the jacket. There are many looks you can get with this classic 2 piece suit!

This vintage 50's swim suit is black with a lace bodice for evening cocktail swim parties. It has a built in boned bra and metal back zipper.  It has the elastic skirt across the front just like Marilyn Monroe wore! These suits are now collectors items, especially in this larger size.

It's our current favorite dress hands down! The fabric is unbelievably beautiful in raw silk with a pretty sheen in light ballet pink. It has no labels but we're pretty sure it's all real silk. Jackie O style 60's era... it's a matching shift dress with a slight baby doll style and matching jacket. The buttons are gold metal with clusters of pink crystal rhinestones. Designer couture quality by Arpegio of Beverly Hills. Fully lined and in wonderful (almost perfect) condition.

The fabric is beautiful cotton semi sheer/unlined crochet lace with a pretty design...swans on the legs (see photos). There's elastic around the waist and also around the top. It has a pink fabric rose and ribbon detail on the ruffled bust/top area. It's strapless but the elastic keeps it up, it's strong and like new. It's a such a beautiful bohemian hippie style pant suit from the 70's!

We chose not to add elastic so the new owner can make sure it fits her, but it can easily be added at any dry cleaners... Price reduced.

Here's a rare vintage skirt & matching blouse from the later 60's. So hard to find in the original matching set! The yellow print blouse ties in front and is lined. It has adorable Ossie Clark style fluttery puffy sleeves. The long light blue cotton denim skirt flares out at the bottom like 1930's dresses did back then. Skirt zips and is unlined. The colors, in person, are soft and muted not overly bright.  Rock star rich hippie worthy!

Also known as rompers. This one is a 40's 50's vintage Hawaiian play suit. It's a collectors item by Hale of Hawaii. Crisp cotton Hawaiian print fabric with a matching bra & white cotton liner inside with a strap & hook in back. This is a one piece play suit with shorts for the bottoms and hip pockets. There is elastic smocking on the side of the bodice, zipper in back (we had to put in a brand new zipper), original coconut buttons, a gathered halter style top/bust. This is a classic pin up style suit. Adorable!

A gorgeous deep maroon silk & cotton velvet fabric makes this so special...we love this! The skirt is all semi sheer unlined silk cut out velvet with little metal snaps on one side. The top is a solid, probably cotton, velvet bodice with matching cutout velvet sleeves. Button details on waist and in front, button closure in back of neck, unlined. This looks like it was custom made for the owner...well done with straight seams, etc.

The only flaws are 2 and they're on the blouse: one small hole on shoulder of one sleeves (see photo) & a slight darkening to velvet at waist where top was either tucked into skirt or a belt was worn.

Skirt is unlined, has a metal zipper on one side, and a walking slit in the back with 2 big deco shaped plastic buttons, & padded shoulders. A collectors item that will never go down in value...Really beautiful!
