This is a stunning long black Art Deco era authentic antique / vintage dress from the 1930's made of a silky black fabric that is light and flowy. It's cut on a bias and the bottom part of the dress flares out beautifully! There is a lot of subtle & pretty detail to this wonderful dress. The stitching around the hips is so pretty! It's a sleeveless cut with soft draped fabric laying over the shoulders as was popular back then. The front and back has a soft tan colored cotton lace detail and a bow in the back. There is a side opening with metal snaps and the dress is unlined. Such a classic style it will never go out of fashion. There are no labels so we do not know for certain what it's made of, the fabric feels silky but it's not super light weight or thin, so it could be silk or rayon, but we think probably rayon.
