Here's a stunning & rare antique Art Deco era dress from the 1920's to 1930's. Made of black silk velvet and glass beads. It's true old Hollywood glamour! The dress is a simple slip on style. The sleeves are big & flared lined in ivory silk to match the beads. The front & back are beaded in circles of clear and white glass bead work. The top of the shoulders have velvet & ivory ruffles. It was owned by a lucky & wealthy lady who did not wear her things very much. So this dress has lot's of life left.

Condition Details: Freshly dry cleaned by a non toxic earth friendly cleaners. No holes or stains. Very black. Only minor general wear. We had the beads reinforced by a seamstress, so they're more sturdy. The inside ivory silk has some wear areas that were tacked down inside to the velvet. This is a very old dress but it is very well made & has lots of life left.
