  We love well made & beautifully designed clothing of any age but here we prefer vintage clothing & adore vintage lingerie. Designers & unknown labels are both in our collection as long as they meet our standards of style & quality.

After shopping online myself for vintage clothing I realized what I wanted was not on the web. I found either dirty thrift store quality clothes with really poorly designed websites, or really expensive museum quality clothing. So I set out to build Posh Girl Vintage clothing store. My goal was to build an online store that was modern & easy to use with clear pretty photos &, of course, to sell great unique wearable quality vintage clothing, designer clothing, & accessories at a fair price... neither too cheap, nor too expensive. I have a bit of an obsession with really pretty vintage dresses, especially informal vintage wedding dresses so my site reflects that. I prefer and sell vintage clothing from the 1920's to the 1970's, and a few pieces from the 80's that are really cute. The 50's, 60's, & 70's are our favorite decades! Formal gowns, and vintage prom dresses are also our specialty.

For our vintage wedding dresses we mainly offer dresses from the 50's & 60's but occasionally we'll find special dresses from the 20's, 40's, & 70's that are too pretty to pass up. We just love the tea length wedding dress with a full skirt and fitted bodice! So feminine and classic! Audrey Hepburn is our inspiration.

If you love quality clothing then you know that sometimes there are those clothes that have a nice design or look but there's just something lacking or not quite right. Cheap fabric, badly sewn, or just not pleasing to the eye for whatever reason. You won't find those here! If we wouldn't wear it then we won't sell it!

You won't find trashed, stained, un cleaned, or un repaired vintage clothing here either. Occasionally, If we love something enough and it has allot of flaws we'll have it restored to the best of our ability & list the flaws it may have left, if any. Some vintage clothing just needs to be saved. These are for sale in our Discount Rack section.

Each item is thoroughly  inspected & photographed by the 2 of us but occasionally we may miss something small. We are human & make mistakes. We do our best to get the clothing to you in the best possible condition & as fast as we can. We want you to be happy & come back.

Posh Girl Vintage clothing store is family owned & operated in beautiful S. California but we sell online only. We have no brick & mortar store at this time. Our family has a long history in the clothing business. You could say its in our blood.

I've been a vintage clothing freak & collector since I was 13. I've also worked in photo studios & in the film industry for many years. This has given me access to some great & unusual clothing. I'm a member of the Vintage Fashion Guild & other costume societies.

My mother, Patti has worked in the clothing business since she was 20 years old, owning her own clothing boutique in Laguna Beach, Calif. in the 70's & 80's.

My grandmother was a Lux soap model, as well as the head buyer & manager of 2 very upscale dept. stores in Newport Beach, & Santa Ana Calif. during the 50's & 60's. She was also an interior decorator for John Wayne & other famous people. She often helps us date and describe our clothing.
