How to Order



All our vintage items are sold in As Described condition & returnable for store credit only (See return policy link below). Store Credit is good forever & we help you find what you're looking for if it's not on our site.

We have a very safe site secured with an SSL through GoDaddy.com & a payment processor through Wells Fargo & Verisign.

We work regular business hours Monday Through Fri and some Saturdays. We usually return emails within hours if not minutes.

POLICIES:
  • We do not hold items.
  • Please realize the measurements we list are the dresses/items measurements and not yours. We give the fabric size. See our Clothing Info link below for all the details.
  • Please remember all items will have a varied degree of wear from near mint condition to well worn. Refer to the condition chart on the Clothing Info link below, for all the details.
  • We clean & repair all items before putting them up for sale. We're not clothing restorers but we do our best to provide our items in the best possible condition. We also simply refuse to sell anything that's poorly made or in too poor of condition to look great. All major flaws are mentioned & photographed, occasionally we will not mention minor flaws that are hidden, inside, repairs, or do not affect the item or the wearing of it. Sometimes we miss small &/or faint things because we're human. If we make a mistake we're happy to fix it ASAP. 
  • If you only want mint brand spanking new condition then vintage clothing is probably not for you.
  • Please remember we're a small 2 to 3 person family business. But we give personal attention and know most of our regular customers & what they like. We even go out on shopping trips for special requests or look for items in our ware house that we think they would like.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we feel is being dishonest, rude, etc...
  • Valid Tracking # & carrier info for any snail mail payment must be sent within 2 days.

WHAT TO DO:
  1. When you find an item/items you want, click on the daisy Add To Cart button.
  2. Choose your payment method and enter your info.
  3. You must check the box stating you have read & agree to all of our policies (see Terms Of Use below).
  4. Make sure you click Submit Order only one time.
  5. You'll get an automated email receipt with your order # and info.
  6. California residents must pay sales tax.



PAYMENTS WE ACCEPT:
  • Visa,  Mastercard, American Express, & Discover card
  • US cash sent by registered mail.
  • Money Orders drawn from a US bank - we wait for them to clear then we ship, usually 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Western Union - Payment must be sent within 2 days of order - They charge a percentage for their service.
  • International Checkout is for overseas credit cards only: Please email us & tell us which item you ordered so we can make sure it gets held for you. 



PAYMENT
S WE DO NOT ACCEPT:
  • Paypal
  • Personal or business checks of any kind foreign or domestic.
  • Non US money orders
  • Non US currency


Lay-A-Way:  No fees or extra costs for layaway!

We have 2 lay-a-way plans - 
  • $300 & over: You pay 1/2 of the order total up front & the remaining 1/2 in 30 days.
  •  $1000.00 or more: You pay a 1/3 deposit & have up to 60 days to pay balance.
  • All layaway deposits are non-refundable even if you do not complete the sale...Sorry no exceptions.
  • All items put on lay-a-way are not returnable - It holds up stock for us & for others who really want the items.
  • One layaway order at a time.
  • No exchanging items after layaway is started. 
  • No more than 3 items at a time please.
  • Lay-a-way is not available for International Checkout users.

What To Do:
 
Place your order, put "layaway" in the comment box, Make sure your phone number is included, Choose money order as your payment option, & someone will call you within 24 hours to take your payment over the phone, we will charge your order manually in increments.

FOREIGN ORDERS



NON US Credit Cards (except Canada) must go through International Checkout to complete the order. They're a trusted 3rd party company that verifies all non US credit cards. Just click on the orange International Checkout button when you go to pay for your order but please do email us and tell us which item you ordered through them so we can make sure it gets held for you. They're a separate company from us & the shipping charges are calculated by them only. All international shipments processed thru International Checkout are subject to their terms and conditions. Posh Girl Vintage, LLC is not responsible for any claims arising from orders processed thru International Checkout. To pay by Western Union:

1. Just use the check out and choose the Money Order option for payment, we will send you a confirmation email with instructions ASAP, After you receive the instructions payment must be made within 2 days or order is deleted.

2. You can use your credit card to Send payment through WESTERN UNION  www.westernunion.com   or Call them over the phone to send to the name & address on the confirmation email. They charge a small fee based on the amount you send.


SHIPPING:
  • We ship worldwide
  • USPS boxed Priority or Express with insurance & signature confirmation.
  • We can try but, can not promise, same day or next day shipping, payments must clear 24 hours before we ship & there's up to a 72 hour processing time before your order is shipped.
  • We ship twice a week usually Thursdays & Fridays but often allot more.
  • We will not ship uninsured or untraceable & all items require a signature. The package will be held at the post office for you to pick up with proper ID if no one is home to sign.
  • If you need your items by a certain date please put that on the order comment box & we'll try our hardest, but can't promise, to get it out right away, especially if it's express.
  • If it's around the holidays sometimes we get slowed down a bit.

Our system is very active in preventing credit card fraud so we only ship to the name & address on credit cards. If address does not match the one on the card bank will decline the order.
