1950's Ivory & Petal Pink Tea Length Party Dress - M
This is one of the most beautiful and rare dresses we have ever had. The photos truly do not do it justice. The colors are soft and muted in person...in the photos they look a bit sharp to us. Soft ivory (not white) with light petal pink cording and petals with flowers and rhinestones sprinkled in the center of the appliques. Metal side zipper, very full tea length skirt with a cotton stiff paper like liner under the skirt to keep it full. The matching taffeta sash / shawl can be worn in many ways. Circa late 40's early to mid 50's. This would be a lovely vintage wedding dress. Very Audrey Hepburn. Please read the condition details below.
See CLOTHING INFO link at bottom of page for size charts & info.
Condition Details: No holes or major stains. It does have signs of wear. When you first see the dress it looks almost new but upon closer /close up inspection you can see it is an actual vintage dress. It shows signs of use on the bodice at the edge of the fabric where your arms touch the fabric on top...no stains... but it has subtle wear darkening to fabric. Also around the waist seam it may have been worn with a belt there are a few faint darkening spots from just wear or dirt, sash covers it completely. -- We had it dry cleaned. We try to show these small flaws in the photos. Very wearable as is and spots are very faint. None are located in important areas like bust or front of skirt. If you want mint perfect this is not for you.
