1940's Men's Clavin Curtis Suspenders Braces Nude Women
These are a very rare pair of vintage mens pant suspenders braces dating from the 1940's 50's by Calvin Curtis. They are the Daphne color as you can see listed in the original ad below. They're adjustable with metal hardware and white leather. The straps are silk with woven brocade nude women on them in a ArtNouveau style...that eras pinup girls. Our research shows these are original Calvin Curtis suspenders that he sold in New York during this time. His name is not on them but all of the photos and description prove it. The below photos & ad were from an article in Life & New Yorker magazine.
Condition Details: No holes. No stains other than age related darkening on the white leather. Nothing broken. No loose seams. Just normal wear from their age and use.
