This vintage dress is a very unusual one. This was acquired from a lady who worked for Cartier. We do not know who made the dress as there are no labels on it. We know Cartier never made clothing for retail sale, but it's very possible it was her uniform or work attire at the counter as she was a display girl at one time. The logo is exact & not a cheap imitation... It's very well done. We're also not sure of the fabric content exactly as it is not labeled either. The buckle is made of plastic but we do not know for sure if it's bake light or not. The date is a guess determined by her children telling us when she worked for Cartier and how old she was. It's either 40's or maybe late 60's. The style is 40's. The fabric is amazing...sheer beige color with the logo embroidered all over & very well done. It moves like rayon, very flowy. You'll need a slip or spanx underneath as it is a bit sheer. A true one of a kind collectors item! So adorable with a pair of wedge platform heels.
- This is a specialty item that's NOT returnable.
No holes or stains. Not much wear at all but some on the buckle. Looks like there may have been a repair on the neck but it is done so well we're not sure if it was a repair. There are 2 buttons missing at the back of the neck & a small hole where the button was. Very easy fix!! Sold as-is.Label:
