Here is a very rare MOD designer dress from the 1960's. Made from the Westwood Knitting Mills. This label is in many museums. Rudi Gernreich designed for this label around the same time this dress was made. It looks very much like many of his bathing suits. Made of black and white knit with a bright purple knit belt that hugs the hips and has a big bright orange metal and vinyl buckle. The dress is a pull over style with no zippers or buttons. It is very stretchy and unlined. A real rare find and so adorable!
